E-commerce & Social Media Associate at Goonite Hygiene

Job Overview

• We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy E-commerce & Social Media Associate to manage our online presence and drive digital sales.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for listing products on e-commerce platforms, managing our social media pages, and converting online engagement into actual sales, especially through WhatsApp and Instagram.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage product listings, orders, and inquiries on e-commerce platforms (e.g., Jumia, Konga, etc.).
• Write compelling product descriptions and upload high-quality images.
• Build and manage WhatsApp communities for customer retention and direct sales.
• Use WhatsApp and Instagram to promote products, engage leads, and close sales.
• Develop creative content that aligns with the brand’s voice and audience.
• Monitor social media trends and leverage them to increase engagement.
• Suggest improvements to boost online visibility and conversions
• Collaborate with graphic designers or content creators as needed
• Follow up with customers promptly, respond to inquiries, and handle basic order tracking.
• Support the marketing team in product awareness campaigns through repost and product updates.
• Maintain daily records of sales, chats, and customer engagement activities.
• Respond to DMs, comments, and tags in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND / HND / BSc Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• 2 - 3 years experience in social media management or e-commerce (internship included).
• Proficiency in Instagram, WhatsApp Business, and at least one e-commerce platform.
• Excellent written communication and customer service skills.
• Basic graphic design or Canva skills is an added advantage.
• Previous experience in selling FMCG or consumer products online.
• Can communicate fluently in English, Pidgin, or local dialects.
