We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented E-commerce & Web Systems Specialist to manage our online sales channels, support system integrations, and enhance our digital presence.
The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with e-commerce experience to drive efficiency, improve customer experience, and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and optimize online sales channels, including Shopify, Jumia, and local Nigerian e-commerce platforms.
Execute email and marketing campaigns to boost online sales performance.
Implement and maintain SEO strategies, including keyword optimization and content uploads.
Collect, process, and analyze data to generate insights and recommend process improvements.
Support system integrations, troubleshoot application issues, and collaborate with the IT team and external partners.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure system reliability and performance.
Develop, maintain, and enhance applications and tools that support business needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend and implement technical, business, and user-focused solutions.
Manage multiple tasks/projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years’ experience in designing and developing applications.
Proficiency in APIs, Webhooks, Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, and SQL.
Experience with NetSuite (preferred).
Familiarity with Jumia Vendor/Seller Central.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused.
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects effectively.
Strong data analysis skills.
Previous experience in customer service or e-commerce (preferred).
