E-commerce Accountant at Capsgain Solutions

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our e-commerce business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient management of financial resources. The E-commerce Accountant will collaborate with other departments to provide financial support for business decisions, maintain financial records to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and manage stocks.

Responsibilities:

• Manage financial transactions for the e-commerce business, including payments and refunds.
• Manage and track inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledgers, financial statements, and other reports.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations and assist in tax planning and filing.
• Forecast cash flow and manage the company's finances to ensure adequate liquidity.
• Develop and manage a budget and provide regular reports on financial performance against budget.
• Identify and mitigate fraudulent activities.
• Assist in audits and regulatory compliance.
• Provide financial support for business decisions and advise management on financial matters.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in e-commerce accounting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on e-commerce.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
