Driver's Manager at Brit Property Nigeria

Location: Brit Transport, Ajah, Lagos

Are you a highly organised and experienced transport professional with a proven ability to manage a fleet of drivers and ensure smooth logistics operations? Brit Transport, a division of Brit Properties, is looking for a Driver Manager to join our dynamic team in Ajah.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of company drivers across various routes and assignments.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, traffic laws, and safety regulations.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules, fuel usage, and tracking systems
• Recruit, train, and evaluate driver performance and conduct disciplinary actions when necessary
• Develop efficient route plans to optimise delivery timelines and reduce costs
• Maintain accurate records of trips, vehicle documentation, licenses, and incident reports
• Act as liaison between drivers, operations, and management for effective communication

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar managerial role
• Strong knowledge of Lagos and other states’ road networks and transport regulations
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage schedules, solve problems quickly, and handle pressure
• Practical knowledge of vehicle spare parts and components
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with vehicle tracking systems an added advantages
