Job Purpose

• The Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services for the organization.
• The role requires strict adherence to traffic laws, company policies, and a commitment to ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers, goods, and company property.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport staff, clients, and materials to designated locations.
• Ensure vehicles are maintained in excellent condition by carrying out routine checks (fuel, oil, water, tires, lights, etc.).
• Adhere strictly to road traffic laws and company driving policies.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure road worthiness of vehicles.
• Report any vehicle faults, damages, or maintenance needs immediately to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and servicing.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean, inside and out, at all times.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods, materials, or equipment when required.
• Provide timely and courteous transportation service to staff and visitors.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion while transporting management and sensitive documents.

Requirements
Criteria:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Familiarity with local routes, road networks, and traffic regulations.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
