JOB SUMMARY

A reputable organization in the Oil & Gas sector requires suitable candidates for this position.The driver must have excellent time-management skills, be an ardent follower of traffic rules, and have a strong maintenance behavioral pattern.

• Minimum Qualification: High School (S.S.C.E)
• Experience Level: Mid- level
• Experience Length: 5 years
• Resident in Ibadan or Akure/Willing to relocate.           

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely transporting company staff as well as various products, and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
• Assisting with the loading and offloading of staff luggage, products, and materials.
• Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.
• Promptly informing the company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours.
• Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking,in order to avoid parking violations.
• Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by booking regular car wash (for the vehicle interior and exterior), servicing when due, and carrying out timely repairs.
• Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management, in a timely manner.
• Keeping a proper log of the vehicle’s movement.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High School leaving Certificate
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a proven driver
• Valid driver’s license.
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Working knowledge of local roads and routes in Ibadan/Akure.
• The ability to utilize maps, GPS systems, and car manuals.
• Effective oralcommunication skills.
• Excellent time management skills
