Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site Driver role based at Genesis Specialist Hospital in Ikeja.
• The Driver will be responsible for safely operating hospital vehicles, including trucks where applicable, to transport medical supplies, equipment, and documents between hospital units and external locations.
• Daily tasks include vehicle inspection, routine maintenance checks, keeping accurate logs of trips and deliveries, and ensuring adherence to all traffic and safety regulations.
• The Driver will support hospital operations by responding promptly to transport requests, assisting with loading and unloading items, and maintaining cleanliness and readiness of vehicles.
• The role also involves courteous interaction with staff, patients, and external partners as needed, while following hospital policies and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Truck Driving and safe operation of hospital or commercial vehicles, including trucks where required.
• Valid driving license, with a clean driving record.
• Strong Communication skills for clear interaction with hospital staff, patients, and external partners.
• Customer Service skills to provide respectful, supportive, and professional service during all transport activities.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and safety checks, and familiarity with local routes in and around Ikeja.
• Ability to follow instructions, adhere to hospital policies, and maintain punctuality and reliability.
• Previous experience as a professional driver in healthcare, logistics, or related fields is an advantage.
• Ability to read and complete transport logs and documentation.
