    Driver

    About the Role

    • We are looking for a reliable and responsible Driver to join our team.
    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting staff, patients, and hospital materials while ensuring the proper maintenance and cleanliness of assigned vehicles.
    • This role requires punctuality, attentiveness, and a strong commitment to safety and professionalism.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Safely drive hospital staff, patients, and visitors to designated locations as assigned.
    • Deliver medical supplies, documents, and other materials promptly and securely.
    • Ensure vehicles are kept clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition at all times.
    • Conduct routine checks on vehicles to identify maintenance needs or repairs.
    • Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel usage, and movement logs.
    • Adhere strictly to traffic rules, road safety regulations, and hospital transport policies.
    • Assist patients and staff courteously when entering or exiting the vehicle.
    • Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle malfunctions immediately.
    • Ensure all vehicle documents (insurance, roadworthiness, licenses) are valid and up to date.
    • Support other administrative or logistics duties as assigned.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
    • Minimum of 3–5 years driving experience, preferably within a hospital, corporate, or logistics environment.
    • Valid Nigerian Driver’s License.
    • Excellent knowledge of Lagos roads and traffic regulations.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Neat personal appearance and good sense of responsibility.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
    • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is an added advantage.
