    Driver

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious farm driver to support daily farm operations by conveying staff to and from the farm and assisting with transportation needs as required.
    • The ideal candidate must be familiar with local routes, committed to safety, and willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends when farm activities require.

    Key Responsibilities
    Staff Transportation:

    • Safely convey farm staff to and from the farm location as scheduled.
    • Ensure timely pickup and drop-off of employees, visitors, and supervisors.
    • Adjust transportation schedules based on farm operational needs and weather conditions.

    Vehicle Operation & Maintenance:

    • Operate assigned farm vehicles responsibly and in compliance with road safety regulations.
    • Conduct daily vehicle checks (fuel level, oil, brakes, tyres, lights) before use.
    • Keep the vehicle clean, functional, and report mechanical issues promptly.
    • Ensure valid vehicle documents, insurance, and licenses are always up to date.

    Operational Support:

    • Support transportation of light farm supplies, tools, or documents when required.
    • Assist management with occasional errands related to farm operations.
    • Maintain a log of trips, fuel usage, and basic vehicle maintenance activities.

    Safety & Conduct:

    • Ensure the safety of all passengers at all times.
    • Maintain professional conduct, confidentiality, and respect toward staff and management.
    • Comply with all farm policies, safety guidelines, and local traffic laws.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Minimum of SSCE or equivalent.
    • Valid Nigerian driver’s license with a clean driving record.
    • Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a farm, construction, or operational environment.
    • Driving: 2 years to 5years (Required)
    • Good knowledge of Ogwashi-Uku and surrounding areas in Delta State.
    • Physically fit and able to work flexible hours, including weekends when required.
    • Honest, punctual, and dependable.
