Driver / Dispatch Rider at FMR AGENCY

Job Summary

• We are seeking a reliable and responsible Driver/Dispatch Rider to join our Logistics team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, prompt, and efficient transportation and delivery of pharmaceutical products and other assigned items to customers, vendors, and business partners.
• This role requires strict adherence to traffic and pharmaceutical safety regulations, proper handling of sensitive medical supplies, and maintaining delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure prompt pickup and delivery of pharmaceutical products to pharmacies, hospitals, and customers.
• Verify delivery contents, obtain acknowledgments/signatures, and collect payments or cheques when required.
• Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance of the assigned vehicle/motorcycle.
• Comply with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
• Handle sensitive and temperature-controlled pharmaceutical items with care.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service.
• Assist with loading and unloading items safely.
• Report mechanical issues or incidents promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE).
• Valid rider’s permit/license (Class A).
• 1–2 years’ experience as a dispatch rider.
• Good knowledge of Lagos road networks and routes.

• Basic motorcycle maintenance knowledge.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• High level of integrity and responsibility.
• Experience handling confidential or sensitive packages is an advantage.
