    Drilling Fluid Engineer/Mud Engineer (SOBM)

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time on-site role for a Drilling Fluid Engineer/Mud Engineer (SOBM), located in Lagos.
    • The Drilling Fluid Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the selection, testing, and blending of drilling fluids.
    • Daily tasks will include monitoring fluid properties, ensuring compliance with specifications, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
    • The role also involves working closely with drilling engineers to plan and execute drilling operations efficiently and safely.

    Qualifications

    • Petroleum Engineering and Petroleum skills
    • Experience in Drilling and Drilling Engineering
    • Proficiency in Well Planning
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus
    • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field
