Overview

• As a Dispatch Rider in our laundry firm, you will be responsible for the efficient and timely delivery and collection of laundry items to and from customers' locations.
• Your role involves ensuring that laundry orders are handled with care, delivered promptly, and maintaining a professional image representing our company to our clients.
• You'll operate within designated areas, following scheduled routes to optimize delivery efficiency. 

Responsibilities
Delivery and Collection:

• Pick up and deliver laundry items from/to customers' locations promptly and safely.
• Handle laundry items with care to prevent damage during transportation.
• Ensure accuracy in-order delivery, matching items with invoices or receipts.

Route Planning and Navigation:

• Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes to meet delivery schedules.

Vehicle Maintenance and Compliance:

• Conduct routine checks on the assigned delivery vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs promptly.
• Adhere strictly to traffic rules and regulations for safe driving and delivery.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
• Handle customer inquiries or complaints with tact and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including invoices, receipts, and any customer feedback.
• Complete the necessary paperwork for each delivery and ensure it is properly filed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Valid motorcycle rider's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a dispatch rider or delivery personnel, preferably in a similar setting (laundry or courier services).
• Familiarity with local roads, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns.
• Ability to handle laundry items carefully and ensure their safe transport.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and transport laundry bags or packages.
