Dispatch Rider at Montaigne Place

About the Role

• We are seeking a reliable and proactive Dispatch Rider to ensure prompt delivery of goods and packages to customers across various locations.
• The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, demonstrate excellent time management, and uphold a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and timely deliver items to customers using a company-provided motorcycle.
• Pick up items from suppliers or warehouses as instructed.
• Ensure proper handling and care of goods during transit to prevent damage.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures on delivery documents.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery status and estimated arrival times.
• Perform basic maintenance checks on the motorcycle and report any faults.
• Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Assist in minor errands within the store or retail operations as needed.
• Handle cash on delivery (if applicable) and ensure accurate remittance.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE / OND.
• Proven experience as a Dispatch Rider or similar role.
• Valid Rider’s Card and driver’s license (Class A).
• Candidates must live close to location
• Good knowledge of city routes and traffic patterns.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic record-keeping and documentation skills.
• Physically fit and able to ride long distances.
