We are seeking a reliable and proactive Dispatch Rider to ensure prompt delivery of goods and packages to customers across various locations.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, demonstrate excellent time management, and uphold a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Safely and timely deliver items to customers using a company-provided motorcycle.
Pick up items from suppliers or warehouses as instructed.
Ensure proper handling and care of goods during transit to prevent damage.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures on delivery documents.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery status and estimated arrival times.
Perform basic maintenance checks on the motorcycle and report any faults.
Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
Assist in minor errands within the store or retail operations as needed.
Handle cash on delivery (if applicable) and ensure accurate remittance.
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times.
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE / OND.
Proven experience as a Dispatch Rider or similar role.
Valid Rider’s Card and driver’s license (Class A).
Candidates must live close to location
Good knowledge of city routes and traffic patterns.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail setting.
