Digital Media Graphics Designer / IT Personnel at S-TEE Schools

Location: Isolo, Lagos

Job Summary

• Responsible for performing a full range of tasks in the design and development of multimedia graphic design marketing materials (digital, print, and video).
• This position will be responsible for design projects such as website graphics, sales collateral, billboards, social media graphics, and in-store point of sale materials, instructional and promotional videos, and animation videos for YouTube and social media and other digital platforms.
• To be successful in this position, you'll be a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas within short-frame of time, and show amazing attention to detail.
• Conceptualize, design, and animate powerful videos.
• Create dynamic social media videos
• Create engaging visual content for print, web, and interactive media though graphic design, animation, and video: motion graphics, digital ads, website banners, animated social media posts, one-pagers, brochures, invitations, infographic posters, research reports, events, etc.
• Demonstrate ability to not only lead design projects, but also create new, innovative strategic solutions while ensuring brand guidelines are followed and visual communication standards are met — while still pushing the brand forward
• Ensure consistency of brand and creative across video, multimedia graphics
• Manage and produce digital design work, including banner sizing and versioning
• Design and edit motion assets, in line with brand identity for digital, video and social content
• Ensure all projects are completed on time, with excellence and high-quality
• Work closely with the administrative departmentto ensure final deliverable meets project’s goal by agreed deadline
• Work independently and autonomously while within a team environment and influencing individuals without a formal reporting structure
• Utilizes the Optum Marketing project management tool (Workfront) to receive work requests and update work in progress
• Responsible for participation in production meetings with partners.
• Research emerging technologies and recommend solutions that align with business goals
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
• There will be certain additional designated roles as regards the school website backend updating and result uploading on the school management system.
• Photoshop and raw video editing experience
• Skills in design software, particularly Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and After Effects.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, able to take direction well and communicate effectively.
• Persistency, high energy, and a passion to prove yourself.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND in any field.
• Minimum of 3 - 15 years experience.
• Experience as a graphic designer or in a related field.
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, CorelDraw, and Illustrator.
• A strong eye for visual composition.
