Digital Marketer / Graphics Designer at Gurugeeks Royalty

JOB BRIEF

We are looking for a Digital marketer to own and manage all our digital marketing channels you will be responsible for helping maintain our brand and media presence by identifying and evaluating new digital technologies, by using web analytics tools to measure website traffic in order to optimize marketing campaigns, email marketing and social media management. The successful candidate in this role must have proved experience in Graphic Design to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media. The goal is to inspire and attract the target audience, create visually appealing and engaging designs including social media graphics, website banners, email templates, infographics and display ads. Develop brand identity elements, such as logos, icons and visual guidelines, to maintain a consistent brand image across all platforms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the company's online presence by driving traffic to Company pages.
• Design and oversee all aspects of digital marketing channels including marketing database, email, and display advertising campaigns  
• Publish digital marketing content online.
• Measure digital traffic.
• Develop engaging online content including clickbait, forums, video, graphics, and blogs: monitor and analyze content success
• Use Google Analytics, Google Adwords, and other relevant sites.
• Optimize paid advertising campaigns using SEO and other tools.
• Report on the growth and analytics of campaigns to stakeholders.
• Producing regular digital dashboards for reporting progress against set KPIs.
• Experience using content management systems.
• Study design briefs and determine requirements
• Schedule projects and define budget constraints
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software
• Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic
• Work with product team to produce final design
• Test graphics across various media
• Amend designs after feedback
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and promote our brand
• Determine what content will reach customers

Requirements and skills

• A minimum of 1 year proven graphic designing experience
• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics brief
• Familiarity with Digital marketing tools and design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop)
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• First degree in Design, Fine Arts, Marketing or related field is a plus
• Must have completed NYSC
