We are offering six (6) month fellowship opportunity in Nigeria for individuals passionate about communications and impact. The Digital Communications Fellow will design and execute digital campaigns that amplify Dev-Afrique’s mission, projects, and thought leadership. This role focuses on leveraging social media, web platforms, and digital tools to engage diverse audiences and enhance visibility for development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement digital communication strategies to promote Dev-Afrique’s programs and partnerships.
Manage and grow social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram) with engaging content.
Create multimedia assets (graphics, videos, infographics) for campaigns and reports.
Monitor analytics and prepare monthly performance reports to optimize engagement.
Collaborate with project teams to translate technical content into accessible digital narratives.
Support virtual events, webinars, and online campaigns.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
Minimum three years of experience in digital communications or social media management.
Strong content creation skills (writing, design, video editing).
Proficiency in tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, and social media analytics platforms.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Familiarity with development issues and interest in social impact storytelling.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
