Fellowship Overview

• We are offering six (6) month fellowship opportunity in Nigeria for individuals passionate about communications and impact. The Digital Communications Fellow will design and execute digital campaigns that amplify Dev-Afrique’s mission, projects, and thought leadership. This role focuses on leveraging social media, web platforms, and digital tools to engage diverse audiences and enhance visibility for development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement digital communication strategies to promote Dev-Afrique’s programs and partnerships.
• Manage and grow social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram) with engaging content.
• Create multimedia assets (graphics, videos, infographics) for campaigns and reports.
• Monitor analytics and prepare monthly performance reports to optimize engagement.
• Collaborate with project teams to translate technical content into accessible digital narratives.
• Support virtual events, webinars, and online campaigns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in digital communications or social media management.
• Strong content creation skills (writing, design, video editing).
• Proficiency in tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, and social media analytics platforms.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with development issues and interest in social impact storytelling.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
