Job Description
A DevOps Manager who will implement process improvements to ensure we are consistent, timely, and efficient when providing world-class software solutions to our clients. An innovator with leadership skills who will work closely with multiple engineering and infrastructure teams.
Managing and maintaining all engineering environments from testing to production.
Design and implement secure automated deployment solutions across development, testing, and production environments.
Define and implement tools and technologies to complete a true DevOps implementation of selected applications and report the efforts to management.
Provide technical direction and guidance, as well as hands-on process management for all product development.
Work collaboratively with all stakeholders and engage with various teams to ensure all implemented tools and technologies are being utilized to their fullest potential.
Partner with the respective leads & engineers to complete the defined project plans and deliverables during ongoing releases.
Assist engineering team with architectural decisions, API design, and software monitoring.
Enforce engineering best practices and standards.
Organize and construct containerization.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required, Master’s or MBA a plus.
Working knowledge of reverse web proxies and load balancers. (HAProxy, Nginx, Consul)
5-7+ years' experience in software development or relevant DevOps environment.
3 + years leading/managing teams & initiatives.
A deep technical understanding of the intersection of development and operations (DevOps), monitoring and management tools, as well as deployment processes and tools.
Experience with CI/CD.
Demonstrate understanding of SaaS-based services.
Strong knowledge & experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Hashicorp or other service discovery/service mesh solutions.
Windows Server experience is a plus.
