We are looking for an experienced Devops Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time hybrid role as a Devops Engineer located in Lagos with some remote work possible. The Devops Engineer will be responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining our infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability, performance, and cost optimization. You will work closely with developers to automate the software development lifecycle and implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Role Description
Design, build, and maintain our infrastructure on AWS, including servers, storage, networking, and security services.
Implement infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and AWS CloudFormation.
Configure and manage load balancers for high availability and scalability.
Monitor system health and performance using tools like CloudWatch and Prometheus.
Implement cost optimization strategies and track cloud resource usage.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
Collaborate with developers and operations teams to ensure seamless development and deployment processes.
Identify and troubleshoot technical issues in production environments.
Role Requirements
3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
Strong3 understanding of AWS cloud architecture and services.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Experience with load balancing technologies.
Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch or Prometheus.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash).
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
