DevOps Engineer at SID Digital

Position Overview:

• We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with 2-5 years of experience to enhance our CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, and ensure high availability of our financial platforms. You will collaborate with software engineers, security teams, and cloud architects to deploy, monitor, and optimise systems while maintaining compliance with fintech regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, SOC 2).

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) for microservices and monolithic applications.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
• Manage and optimise cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) with a focus on security, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Implement containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS/ECS).
• Monitor systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog; troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
• Ensure security best practices (IAM, secrets management, network policies) and compliance with fintech standards.
• Collaborate with developers to improve observability, logging, and incident response.
• Participate in on-call rotations for critical system support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of hands-on DevOps/SRE experience, preferably in fintech, banking, or regulated environments.
• Proficiency in AWS/Azure/GCP (certifications a plus).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Go).
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless architectures.
• Knowledge of networking, security, and database management (SQL/NoSQL).
• Familiarity with fintech compliance (PCI-DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001) is a bonus.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on automation and scalability.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with FinTech-specific tools (e.g., payment gateways, fraud detection systems).
• Knowledge of blockchain infrastructure.
• Understanding of SRE principles (SLAs, SLOs, error budgets).
