Job description

• Provide support in the development, implementation and assurance of strategies across the enterprise.
• Build functional systems that improve customer experience.
• Deploy product updates, identify production issues and implement integrations that meet customer needs.
• Execute and automate operational processes quickly, accurately and securely.
• Identify and establish DevOps practices in the company.
• Establish configuration management, automate infrastructure, implement continuous integration, and train the team in DevOps best practices to achieve a continuously deployable system.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Improve CI/CD tooling.
• Implement and improve monitoring and alerting.
• Build and maintain highly available systems.
• Implement the CI pipeline.
• Implement and maintain monitoring stacks.
• Lead and guide the team in identifying and implementing new technologies.
• Implement integrations requested by customers
• Deploy updates and fixes
• Provide Level 2 technical support
• Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve user experience
• Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors
• Investigate and resolve technical issues
• Develop scripts to automate visualization
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
• Good knowledge of Ruby or Python
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL
• Problem-solving attitude
• Team spirit
• Strong knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Configuration Management experience such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar.
• Managing production infrastructure with Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
• Strong Linux and/or Windows system administration background.
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
• Minimum of 4 years experience as a DevOps Engineer
