Development Producer at Natives Film Works

As part of our growth and expansion, we are looking for a creative, talented and exceptional Development Producer to join our team. You will be part of story/project development in one of the leading film and television production companies in Nigeria. Working with some of the most creative talents in our industry. Have oversight and strategic input into; the development of our film slate, working with writers, and story editors. Accelerate existing projects as well as generating new projects. Identify, foster and nurture unique and exciting new writing and directing talent. Work with commissioning executives ranging from streamers, studios and television networks. Oversee projects, liaising with producers to ensure they are on track to meeting their targets. Represent Natives to the production community and industry at large. Be a key part of Natives continued growth and establishment as a leader in the industry in Nigeria
and Africa.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• A good understanding of the film and tv production landscape, particularly regarding writers,
• producers, and Directors.
• A strong understanding of international trends in production and story telling.
• Have strong existing relationships within the industry.
• Great understanding of workflows across all departments
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• At least 3 - 4 years of production experience.
• Be an excellent communicator and very good in both spoken and written English.
• This role is full time, with strong growth potentials.
