Developer at Descasio - Nigeria

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
• Develop/maintain applications and software solutions that meets given business requirements.
• Write fundamental programs that interface with external systems and equipment; perform moderately complex analysis and design resulting in technical specifications and unit test plans and devise sample input data to test accuracy of programs
• Resolve moderately complex questions of program intent, input, data acquisition, time sharing, output requirements, coding use and modification
• Provide support for developed web, mobile and cloud applications.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Acquire and maintain an advanced understanding of the business processes that are supported by the software for which you are responsible and developed
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Solid understanding of functional integration points, entity relationships and module flows and interface with functional specialists to ensure solution design and integrity.
• Ensure proper documentation of all developed and maintained applications.
• Maintain a working knowledge of advanced technologies
• Work seamlessly with all internal and applicable external teams to ensure high standard of product support at all levels
• Exchange knowledge and information with other descasio facilities to ensure best practices are shared throughout the organization while maintaining discretion and confidentiality in all areas pertaining to data and proprietary information whether internal to Descasio or customer specific
• Participate and/or be responsible for the rollout and on time delivery of developed applications
• Participate in other capacities as is assigned by your line manager or maintaining partners including but not limited to GASP, deployment, Adwords, Google CEO and other product lines sold and supported by Descasio.

Functional Competencies:

• Knowledge of the software science or related degree
• Experience with common software development technologies and platforms: HTML/CSS, JavaScript (ReactJS/AngularJS), .NET Core, C#/Java, relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL), non-relational datastore( e.g. Mongodb)
• Proficiency in at least one of the Big 3 Cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Knowledge of SharePoint development and integration is a plus
• Experience building and maintaining business process applications
• Application support experience is a plus
• Excellent client interactive skills
• Experience with operating system scripting, programming languages,
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver on a common goal.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's or MA in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field
• 3+ years minimum of working experience.
• Technical Training e.g. Azure Certifications, AWS Certifications and GCP Certifications ▪ Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I, II, III) / Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) / Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
