Job Overview:

• you will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing design solutions that enhance our woodworking projects. You will work closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure that designs are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and feasible for production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative design concepts for woodworking projects, focusing on wood joinery principles.
• Create detailed drawings and specifications using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and specifications.
• Conduct research on trends and materials to inform design decisions.
• Present design ideas and prototypes to stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
• Maintain organized project documentation and design records.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance product offerings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience in woodworking design or a similar field.
• Strong understanding of wood joinery techniques and materials.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
