Design Engineer at SnappyCX

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the product development team to conceptualize and create detailed engineering designs for a new product.
• Produce accurate and comprehensive engineering drawings using CAD software, ensuring adherence to industry standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to provide design documentation for obtaining accurate quotes on the cost of development.
• Conduct thorough reviews of designs to identify and address potential issues related to manufacturability, cost efficiency, and quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Mid-level experience in design engineering, with a proven track record of successful product development.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for creating detailed engineering drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome design challenges.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey ideas and technical information.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and the ability to collaborate with suppliers for cost estimation.
