Role Summary:

As a Dermatologist you will specialize in diagnosing and treating disorders of the skin, hair, and nails, providing expert care to patients of all ages while promoting skin health and wellness.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive skin examinations and diagnostic tests to identify dermatological conditions.
• Develop personalized treatment plans for patients with skin disorders, including prescribing medications, performing procedures, and providing patient education.
• Conduct surgical procedures, such as biopsies, excisions, and laser treatments, to treat skin cancers, lesions, and cosmetic concerns.
• Provide counseling and support to patients regarding skin care, sun protection, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with other medical specialties, such as oncology, rheumatology, and infectious diseases, to manage systemic conditions with dermatologic manifestations.
• Stay updated on advances in dermatology research and treatment modalities.

Requirements:

• Medical degree from a recognized institution, with specialization in dermatology.
• Valid medical license to practice as a dermatologist in Nigeria.
• Board certification or eligibility in dermatology.
• Strong clinical skills and expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of dermatological conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
