    Deputy Program Coordinator

    The deputy program coordinator would be: 

    • Assisting and supporting the program coordinator.

    • Designing and controlling the project schedule.

    • Preparing presentations to update senior management on the project’s progress and showcase the project’s value.

    • Delegating tasks to team members.

    • Tracking and communicating project risks and opportunities.

    • Looking for ways to increase the project’s profitability and reduce expenses where possible.

    • Ensuring deadlines are met.

    • Organizing and attending stakeholder meetings.

    • Providing administrative support.

    • Organizing program team meetings and recording minutes.

    • Liaising with clients to determine the project’s objectives.

    • Handling financial queries.

    • Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures

    • Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g. contracts and terms of agreement)

    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.

    • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.

    • Skills/Academic Qualification

      To be successful as the deputy program coordinator, you will need to:

    • be able to work on tight deadlines, 

    • be competent in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel, 

    • have exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills

    • have obtained a first degree in any health related field, Masters in Public Health is an added advantage.

    • Must be familiar with an NGO mode of operation, a minimum of 2 years work experience.
       

    Salary: N50,000 - N100,000 monthly
