Deputy General Manager (DGM), Fleet at GIG Logistics

Job Summary 

• We are seeking a Deputy General Manager (DGM), Fleet to oversee the fleet operations and logistics management of our company. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all relevant transportation laws and safety regulations, optimize fleet utilization and maintenance schedules, handle vendor and operational dispute resolution, and provide strategic advice to management on fleet expansion, cost-saving measures, and operational efficiency.

• On-time delivery rate (OTD) 
• Fleet availability (≥ 95% target)

• Fuel efficiency & fuel loss reduction 
• Rider/driver productivity (deliveries per rider/day) 
• Accident and safety incident rate 
• Maintenance turnaround time 

Qualifications & Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Transport Management, or related field (MBA preferred). 
• 8–15 years’ experience in logistics/fleet operations, with at least 5–7 years in senior leadership. 
• Proven experience managing large, distributed fleets in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment. 
• Strong understanding of last-mile delivery and inter-state logistics operations.
