    Depot Marketing Manager

    Our client, a leading manufacturing pharmaceutical company is seeking a qualified candidate for the above role.

    • Oversee the efficient management of pharmaceutical products in the warehouse, ensuring proper storage, inventory control, and timely dispatch.
    • Manage and lead a team consisting of accountants, storekeepers, truck drivers, and loaders, ensuring their coordination and efficiency in daily operations.
    • Coordinate transportation logistics, including loading and dispatching, to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing cost-efficiency.
    • Ensure adherence to all relevant health and safety standards in warehousing and transportation activities.
    • Sales and Marketing Management
    • Supervise and guide the activities of field sales and marketing representatives operating in Yola & Taraba states, providing direction and support to achieve sales targets.
    • Strategize and implement plans to meet monthly and yearly sales targets, monitoring progress and taking corrective actions as needed.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, hospitals, institutions, and other key stakeholders to facilitate business growth and maintain a strong market presence.
    • Continuously update and enhance knowledge of pharmaceutical products to effectively guide the sales team and cater to client needs.
    • Conduct market analysis, gather competitor insights, and identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the designated regions.
    • Generate regular reports on sales performance, warehouse activities, inventory levels, and market trends, providing insights for informed decision-making.
    • Collaborate with senior management to develop strategies, promotional activities, and business plans for achieving sales and market expansion objectives.
    • Assist in budget planning and control for warehouse operations, marketing activities, and sales initiatives, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
    • Conduct training sessions and provide guidance to the sales team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and market trends.
    • Set clear goals and KPIs for the team, monitor performance, provide feedback, and motivate team members to achieve objectives.
    • Address any conflicts or issues within the team promptly and effectively, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of 5 years as a Marketing Manager or Area Sales Manager in a reputable pharmaceutical company, alongside an additional 5 years as a sales/medical representative specifically in Taraba & Adamawa states.
    • Proven experience in supervising a team of 3 to 4 sales/medical representatives within the pharmaceutical field while serving as a Marketing Manager.
    • Field Knowledge: In-depth understanding and working knowledge of distributors, hospitals, institutions, and the personnel associated with these entities is essential.
    • Proficiency in a wide range of OTC (Over-the-Counter) and ethical products is necessary.
