Dentist at E-Clinic & Diagnostic

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct dental consultations, examinations and assessments.
• Diagnose and develop appropriate treatment plans for patients.
• Perform routine dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, scaling and polishing, and other procedures within the scope of competence.
• Manage dental emergencies and provide appropriate referrals where necessary.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive dental care and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment notes.
• Ensure proper infection prevention and control practices within the dental department.
• Ensure dental equipment, instruments and materials are properly handled and maintained.
• Work closely with other medical personnel to support comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional and ethical standards.
• Participate in the smooth day-to-day operation of the Dental Unit and ensure proper handover of outstanding cases where necessary.
• Prepare required reports and provide feedback on dental activities to management.
• Perform other duties related to dental services as may be assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Current registration and practising licence with the relevant professional regulatory body in Nigeria.
• Relevant clinical experience as a dentist.
• Good communication and patient-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Professional, compassionate and patient-centred approach.

Contract Duration: Four (4) months.

Work Location: In person
