Demand Planner at OnePyramid

JOB SUMMARY

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Demand Planner to join our dynamic team in the FMCG Industry.
• The ideal candidate will have 7-12 years of hands-on experience in demand planning, supply planning, and production planning.
• This role requires expertise in advanced analytics, material planning, and the ability to effectively utilize tools like Advanced Excel and Power BI to drive business insights and optimize the end-to-end supply chain processes.
• As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring that the right products are available at the right time, balancing demand with supply, and maintaining optimum inventory levels. Your ability to analyze data and collaborate with crossfunctional teams will be critical in achieving seamless planning and execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and manage the demand forecasting process, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Production teams to align demand and supply objectives.
• Perform supply planning and production planning to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained and optimize inventory turnover.
• Use advanced analytics to monitor and analyze demand trends, historical sales data, and market changes to provide actionable insights and adjust forecasts accordingly.
• Create and manage detailed demand plans, utilizing advanced Excel and Power BI for effective reporting, scenario analysis, and visualization of key metrics.
• Collaborate closely with material planning teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and production capacity to meet demand.
• Lead the integration of business analytics into the planning process, ensuring all teams have access to the right data to make informed decisions.
• Review and refine demand planning processes and methodologies, implementing best practices and industry standards.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on forecasts, lead times, and production schedules.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Advanced certifications (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) are a plus.
• 7-12 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, and production planning within the FMCG industry.
• Solid understanding of material planning processes and inventory management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and planning tools.
