    Demand Planner

    The Demand Planner is responsible for all the forecasting activities associated with the products within assigned region.

    The main goal of the Demand Planner is building forecast with sales team to improve Supply & Production Planning activities efficiently, to ensure weekly forecasting discussion takes place with main objective of addressing issues that affected current trend, root cause analysis and align with stakeholders and corrective measure define to improve future forecast review. Responsible for leading Regional S&OP process and drive forecast accuracy.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.
    • Build demand forecast in line with standard planning cycles
    • Lead forecast review with sales, drive integration across function to achieve consensus
    • Interact with field sales and marketing to establish demand drivers
    • Coordinate weekly regional S & Op meeting and drive cross-functional activities to ensure customers satisfaction and perfect order deliveries (DIFOTAI)
    • Drive weekly forecast accuracy improvement actions
    • Manage stock rotation in sales locations to mitigate business loss
    • Connect with Commercial finance, Marketing and field sales to prepare promotions planning and track execution

    IS THIS YOU?

    • University Degree or HND, ideally business-related Economics, Statistics, mathematics and Business Administration etc.
    • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience, preferably in FMCG
    • Good analytical skills
    • Proven ability of results orientation and performance
    • Demonstrated leadership with the ability to harness resources and teams to deliver results within pre-determined timeframes.
    • Ability to form effective working partnerships across functions
    • Proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel, power point)
