    Deck Cadet

    Purpose

    • To gain practical sea-time experience and assist the deck crew in operations and navigation duties.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in watchkeeping and navigation.
    • Support mooring, anchoring, and deck maintenance.
    • Learn vessel safety and regulatory compliance.
    • Maintain training record book (TRB).

    Requirements

    • Enrolled in or graduate of maritime academy (NIMASA-approved)
    • Basic STCW
    • Eager to learn and adapt to vessel life.
