We are seeking a highly motivated detail-oriented, dedicated, and knowledgeable Database Administrator to join our dynamic team at INFINION an innovative IT solution company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Oracle, SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Azure databases in development, testing, and production environments.
Write and debug complex SQL queries and scripts.
Implement and maintain the database design.
Create database tables, indexes, and triggers.
Plan for backup and recovery of database information, including building and maintaining Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies.
Maintain archived data.
Install, upgrade, and manage database applications.
Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.
Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
Create automation for repeating database tasks.
Implement, deploy, and maintain high availability database clusters such as Oracle Cluster, SQL Server High Availability Group
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 1-year work experience as a database administrator.
Proficient in Oracle, SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Azure-related technologies.
Strong command of SQL, and Database management tools such as sqlplus, SSMS, etc.
Familiarity with the main data manipulation languages and the principles of database design.
Knowledge of database backup procedures, recovery systems, and database optimization.
