Job Summary

• The Data Visualization Specialist(s) to design and build data visualization solutions, dashboards, and management information products that translate Meristem's data into clear, compelling, and actionable visual insights for decision-makers at all levels. The Data Visualization Specialist(s) ensure that data is communicated effectively, self-service analytics tools are available and well-maintained, and that the right information reaches the right people at the right time.

Job Details

Dashboard & BI Development

• Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using approved BI and visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).
• Develop Board packs, executive dashboards, operational scorecards, and self-service analytics tools for all business units.
• Translate complex datasets and analytical outputs from the Data Engineers into clear, visually engaging presentations.
• Ensure all visualizations are accurate, accessible, mobile-responsive where required, and consistent with Meristem's branding standards.

Data Analysis & Transformation

• Conduct data analysis and transformation to prepare datasets for visualization and management information production.
• Apply data storytelling techniques to present insights in ways that drive understanding and decision-making.
• Collaborate with the Data Warehouse Manager to ensure dashboards are connected to certified, accurate data sources.
• Manage the analytics reporting calendar — ensuring all regular management reports are delivered on time.

Stakeholder Enablement

• Train business users on self-service analytics tools and dashboard navigation.
• Work with business unit heads to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective visualization solutions.
• Manage the BI tool environment, including user access, performance, and version control.

Identify and escalate data quality issues discovered during visualization and analysis work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from any related discipline
• Master’s degree is a plus
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Data Management.
