    Data Manager

    Objective

    • Manage, Analyze data and Communicate findings in written documentation and presentations

    Purpose

    • MGIC is seeking a Data Manager to support the COVID-19 Seroprevalence Survey with a population-based survey of about 2,040 randomly selected households and about 10,200, Support the development of routine data freezes and analytical data sets Integrate machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms into routine data use of patient-level data from the NDR.

    Qualifications

    • Master's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or related scientific field is required. A Ph.D is an advantage
    • Experience: Minimum of 5 years working experience doing data analysis or epidemiology
    • Specialized knowledge: Expert use of at least 2 data management and analysis tools
    • Skills: Strong mathematical skills, Statistics skills, Problem-solving, Adaptability, Written and oral communications skills, Strong teamwork skills, Critical thinking, and Strong computer background
    • Interpersonal / Individual Competencies: ability to work with other team members, flexibility; decisiveness and personal integrity
    • Professional Certification: Certification in any applicable Health care professional body is desirable.

    Tasks
    Work with COVID 19 Sero Survey team on Data Management:

    Deliverable - Estimated Level of Effort (70%):

    • The Data Manager Will support the COVID- 19 Seroprevalence Survey. This is a population-based survey with about 2,040 randomly selected households and about 10,200 Individuals In the selected states of Nigeria
    • Track sample transfers snd ensure that results from NRL are properly documented and added to field data sets
    • Track and ensure that the cross-sectional survey data set and the longitudinal follow-up data as well as the results from the NRL and correctly linked
    • Support the analysis of complex survey data Provide survey statistics support, consultation, and analysis
    • Support data management processes including data cleaning
    • Develop and use macros or other procedures for automating statistical analysis Communicate findings in written documentation and presentations
    • Assist in-country report writing and writing peer-reviewed papers
    • Support in the development of materials for public release of the COVID. 19 Seroprevalence Survey datasets
    • Be available to support other activities within UMB portfolio.

    NDR
    Deliverable - Estimated Level of Effort (30%):

    • Support tlse development of routine data freezes and analytical data sets
    • Integrate machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms into routine data use of patient-level data from the NDR.

    All proposals will be evaluated and scored on the following criteria:

    • Availability- 20%
    • Cost - 20%
    • Experience & Qualifications - 30%
    • Capability to provide service - 30%

    Content of Response
    A complete proposal will include the following sections:

    • Budget and Cost:
      • List Fees in cost per hour at 8 hours per day
    • References:
      • Please attach references including names, organization, and contact information for three (3) clients who can provide insights regarding skills, qualification and delivery of requested training services.

    Include in your response the anticipated date to start service. All responses must be in English.

    • MGIC reserves the right to accept all or part of the proposal when awarding the purchase order / contract
    • All information provided by MGIC in this RFP is offered in good faith, Individual items are subject to change at any time and all bidders will be provided with notification of any changes. MGIC is not responsible or liable for any use of the information submitted by bidders or for any claims asserted there from
    • MGIC reserves the right to require any bidder to enter into a non-disclosure agreement
    • The bidders are solely obligated to pay for all costs, of any kind whatsoever, which maybe incurred by bidder or any third parties, in connection with the Response. All responses and supporting documentation shall become the property of MGIC, subject to claims of confidentiality in respect of the Response and supporting documentation, which have been clearly marked confidential by the bidder.
