Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role for a Data Center Shift Plants Operator located in Lagos. The operator will oversee plant operations, ensure machinery is functioning efficiently, perform regular maintenance, and uphold quality control standards. Responsibilities include monitoring machine performance, conducting inspections, and using specialized equipment to manage operations safely and effectively. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced on-site environment. Carry out personal risk assessments of maintenance and repair activities. Maintain Plant room condition is to best practice with support with the Plant Cleaner and Shift Team. Ensure all self-delivery work and contractor activities are carried out in accordance with CBRE site Health & Safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related field
• Supervisory Training Certificates (Recognized Apprenticeship)
• Previous experience working in a similar building environment/business.
• Prefer experience relevant experience within the Data Centre
• Relevant technical certifications or training in plant or machine operation is an advantage
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
