    Data/Business Intelligence Analyst (Onsite)

    Our client is looking to hire a Data/Business Intelligence Analyst who will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making within the organization. They will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, develop analytical models, and generate reports and visualizations. The Business Intelligence Analyst will be part of the IT team. This role will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of data aggregation and reporting architecture using data from the company's ERP (Oracle Database based). This role is also responsible for setting up databases for our raw data from the system and designing and provisioning business intelligence assets and reports.

    Responsibilities

    • Gather and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
    • Develop and maintain data models, databases, and data systems to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability.
    • Design and implement data analysis processes, including data cleansing, transformation, and validation.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into data analysis and reporting solutions.
    • Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and data-driven decision-making.
    • Implement a standard reporting system in the organization.

    Qualifications

    • 2 – 3 years proven experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role preferably in insurance solutions
    • First degree from a reputable university. A Master’s Degree is Advantageous
    • SQL Server skills including SQL objects development, performance tuning, data analysis , data query languages and integration
    • Strong proficiency in SQL and data query languages.
    • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data manipulation tools (e.g. Excel, Python, R).
    • Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
    • Develop standards for best practices for reporting, marketing, and educating the company on available reporting tools in the company.
    • Ensure that the business knows whom to approach when requesting a report.
    • Provide the tools for executives to make strategic decisions.
    • Provide the information for executives to make strong business decisions.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
