Our client requires the service of a highly skilled Data analyst. The successful candidate will process, inspect, cleanse, transform, and model data with the goal of discovering useful information, informing conclusions, and supporting decision-making. This individual plays a role in making decisions more scientific and helping businesses operate more effectively.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand the any new data set requirement and discuss with the BI  team to extract the same
• Must have knowledge in Telco domain knowledge  
• Create data extraction logic rom the source systems based on the KPI requirement for
• Understand the process of Automation of data extracts and feeds to establish dashboards and reports.
• Capture reporting UI requirements by interacting with the business user
• Understand schema in the data mart for reports and dashboard development
• Perform “Show & Tell” of the said areas for purpose of analysis
• Document the steps needed for data analysis
• Understand SQL integration/query
• Responds to routine and ad hoc inquiries.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• B.sc in Computer Science, Mathematics, or any related discipline
• Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
• Designing and maintaining data systems and databases; this includes fixing coding errors and other data-related problems.
• Mining data from primary and secondary sources, then reorganizing said data in a format that can be easily read by either human or machine.
