Data Analyst at Seven Up Bottling Company

Responsibilities

• Collect data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, surveys, and external datasets.
• Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency, addressing missing values and outliers.
• Analyze data using statistical and analytical techniques to identify patterns and draw meaningful insights.
• Create charts, graphs, and visual representations of data to effectively communicate findings and trends.
• Build predictive models and conduct regression analysis to forecast trends or outcomes.
• Provide context and actionable recommendations based on data analysis and interpretation.
• Write SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data from databases.
• Apply statistical methods to analyze data distributions, correlations, and significance.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through validation processes and quality checks.
• Extract valuable information from large datasets and identify hidden patterns or trends through data mining.
• Conduct statistical tests to validate hypotheses and draw conclusions through hypothesis testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.

Requirements

• BSc Degree / HND
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience using Excel and Power BI
• FMCG Business Knowledge is an added advantage.
• Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate Certification
• Microsoft Office Specialist for Excel Certification
• Experience in using SS Analysis Services (SSAS) and SS Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Ability to carry out data and report quality assurance and consistency
• Experience using Python.
