Cybersecurity / Information Security Officer at First Marina Trust Limited

About the Role

• We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Entry-Level Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team.
• The ideal candidate is passionate about cybersecurity, eager to learn, and ready to support the implementation and monitoring of our security controls, incident response processes, and overall IT risk management activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts, logs, and events across various security tools and systems.
• Assist in the identification, analysis, and remediation of security incidents.
• Support vulnerability assessments and follow-up on remediation activities.
• Participate in routine security governance tasks, including policy reviews, risk assessments, and asset inventory updates.
• Help maintain compliance with internal security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide support for user awareness, cybersecurity trainings, and phishing simulation exercises.
• Document findings, prepare reports, and escalate issues as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field.
• Years of Experience: 1-3 years
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, tools, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the cybersecurity space.
• Strong knowlegde about network and security and is a plus but not mandatory.
