Job Summary

On behalf of our client who is a Global Logistics Company and are recently setting up their Nigerian Branch, we are sourcing for a Customs Commissioner in Lagos State who is a driven, motivated individual with a can-do attitude.
 

Job description

• Responsible for the production of export declaration and inspection documents, contact with freight forwarders to book ships, contact with cargo shipping related matters;
• Responsible for the production of import customs clearance information, with purchasing and storage department to contact import related matters;
• Be responsible for coordinating contact and communication with box owners or rental companies;
• Responsible for distribution of delivery notice, coordination with marketing department, workshop, quality department, storage and transportation department;
• To be responsible for handling the report of the container to the Customs;
• Responsible for tracking the entry and exit status of the containers declared in the customs control Terminal, contact the customer's suitcase arrangement with the customs control Terminal, and cooperate with the customer's smooth suitcase;
• Field work on commodity inspection and customs matters;
• Responsible for the regular submission of customs clearance information and follow-up;
•  Be responsible for contacting the box owner or the rental company to obtain the receipt certificate;
•  Be responsible for the preparation and transmission of GATE OUT REPORT reports to Box East;
• Responsible for tracking the departure information statistics of each box declared from the customs control Terminal within 180   days of the date of reporting out of the warehouse, obtaining export departure information from the box east and the rental box     company and submitting it to the customs for reference;
• Responsible or the application, change, extension, domestic tax supplement, carry-over and write-off of the manual;
• To cooperate with the Ministry of Storage and Transportation in the supervision and statistics of bonded materials, data checking   and the establishment and maintenance of bonded materials accounts, and to coordinate the problems related to bonded business   in the process of receiving and producing bonded materials;
• Responsible for the monitoring, sealing and packing statistics of container operations;
• Responsible for the preparation and submission of financial tax refund information.
