    Customer Relations Officer

    Position Summary

    • The Customer Relations Officer / Front Desk plays a crucial role in ensuring positive customer experiences and efficient front desk operations within a laundry firm. This position requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle customer inquiries and concerns effectively.
    • The primary goal is to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of Wasche Point Laundry.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Customer Interaction:

      • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner as they enter the facility.
      • Provide information about laundry services, pricing, and any ongoing promotions.
      • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
      • Ensure a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers.
    • Front Desk Operations:

      • Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries.
      • Schedule appointments for laundry services and communicate relevant information to customers.
      • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
      • Handle customer payments, issue receipts, and manage cash transactions accurately.
    • Service Coordination:

      • Coordinate with the laundry staff to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
      • Keep customers informed about the status of their laundry orders and any delays.
      • Collaborate with other departments to address specific customer requests or concerns.
    • Record Keeping:

      • Maintain accurate customer records and update information as necessary.
      • Generate reports related to customer interactions and feedback.
      • Assist in managing inventory of laundry supplies and promotional materials.
    • Customer Education:

      • Educate customers on the proper use of laundry equipment and services offered.
      • Provide information on special care instructions for different fabrics if required.
      • Offer suggestions and recommendations to enhance the customer's laundry experience.
    • Problem Resolution:

      • Handle customer complaints and conflicts with empathy, seeking solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
      • Escalate issues to management when necessary, providing detailed information and recommendations.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a front desk or retail setting.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm and professional demeanor.
    • Basic computer skills for managing customer records and processing transactions.
    • The Customer Relations Officer / Front Desk role is critical in establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers, contributing to the overall success and reputation of the laundry firm.
