This role ensures that Computer-to-Plate (CTP) operations are carried out in line with printing plan within acceptable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Responsibilities
Carry out design and development of New Customer Artwork design (NPDS)
Produce right & specified CTP printing plate for production
Ensure provision & availability of produced CTP Plate at the point of use
Operation of CTP machine with little or no supervision
Follow up preventive maintenance plan & always maintain GMP
Collection / availability of Pre – Press & Coating materials as well as other consumables
Qualifications & Experience
Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Printing Technology or related course
1 - 2 years experience in a similar role
Must be competent to operate CTP machine with little or no supervision
Must be able to interpret printing plan & carry out its execution
Must have experience in printing & coating operation to enable operation requirements
Good communication skills - oral and written
Good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw & MS software.
