Job Description

• A Crusher Supervisor manages daily crushing operations, ensuring optimal production rates, material quality, and safety compliance.
• They lead teams of operators, schedule maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain production records to maximize throughput and equipment availability, adhering to safety regulations like MHSA and SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Management: Oversee daily crushing, screening, and material handling (ROM stock/feeding) to meet production targets.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations, conduct incident investigations, and manage dust suppression.
• Maintenance Coordination: Schedule and coordinate preventative and breakdown maintenance on crushers, screens, and conveyors.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as feed throughput, equipment utilization, and product quality.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and manage operators, providing direction to ensure safe and efficient work practices.

Requirements and Qualifications
Experience:

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree 
• Generally 5+ years of experience in crushing/screening,
• Ideally in an opencast mining environment.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of cone and jaw crushers, conveyor systems, and screen settings.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to lead a team, solve problems, and manage labor.
• Technical Education: Relevant mining or engineering qualifications
