Job Description

• We are seeking a qualified credit officer to oversee our company's lending procedures.
• You will be in charge of determining whether or not prospective customers are creditworthy, developing credit scoring models, authorizing and refusing loans, negotiating payment arrangements, and revising the business' credit policies.
• You must have in-depth knowledge of credit analysis and possess strong analytical abilities to succeed as a credit officer. By maximizing the ratio of sales to bad debt losses, A top-tier Credit officer increases a company's worth.

Responsibilities:

• Determining a prospective customer's creditworthiness.
• The Development Of credit scoring models for risk evaluations.
• Approving and rejecting loans by the data at hand.
• Determining and establishing loan interest rates.
• Negotiating the loan's terms with new customers.
• Ensuring that all lending practices and loans adhere to the law.
• Keeping track of all business Loans.
• Keeping track of late payments and bad debts.
• Revising and reviewing the business's credit policy.

Requirements:

• A minimum 2.1 Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics
• 3-5 years of reputable professional history as a credit manager in a commercial bank/ finance company/ Microfinance bank
• Marketing experience
• Excellent knowledge of Financing Practices.
• Outstanding analytical abilities.
• Strong Interpersonal Abilities.
• Attentive to Detail.

Salary: ₦150,000.00 - ₦300,000.00 per month
