Credit Control Clerk at International Breweries

Key Purpose

The key purpose of this role is to join the team in collections on behalf of the company for beverages supplied to customers.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Ensure customers follow payment terms per Credit policy
• Perform monthly debtor day’s calculation and review of customer accounts via ageing method
• Follow effective dispute resolution techniques
• Promise to pay is secured, assisting in customer education on effective payment processing
• Manage order release effectively and ensure orders are not released to customers in violation of the credit policy
• Manage and reduce Provision for Bad Debt
• Maintain Daily Call Schedule
• Obtain payment plans from owing customers

Key Attributes and Competencies:

• Understanding of Property management System- SAP
• Knowledge in Microsoft Excel is paramount
• Tactful, patient with good customer service skills .
• Good analytical and negotiation skills

Education

• Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent in Administration or related field (Degree in Accounting will be an added advantage)

Experience

• 2-3 years in a similar role
