    Creative Director

    • We are actively seeking a seasoned Creative Director to join Harvesters International Christian Centre, a faith-inspired organization committed to transforming lives through hope, connection, and devotion to Christ. This is a key leadership role, reporting to the Head of Strategy and Communications, and presents a unique chance to contribute to our mission in a meaningful way.
    • As Creative Director, you'll lead our dynamic creative team, shaping a compelling vision aligned with our faith-based mission.
    • From managing budgets and timelines to overseeing multimedia content creation, your role ensures cohesive, emotionally resonant storytelling.
    • Collaborating cross-functionally, you'll align creative efforts with overall objectives and maintain brand consistency.
    • Stay ahead with industry trends, adapt strategies for diverse audiences, and contribute to cohesive campaigns alongside the Head of Strategy and Communications.

    Job responsibilities

    • Develop a compelling creative vision aligned with the faith-based organisation's mission and values, guiding all creative projects.
    • Lead and inspire a creative team, ensuring cohesive and effective collaboration among designers, writers, and multimedia specialists.
    • Plan and manage creative projects, including budgets and timelines.
    • Craft emotionally resonant stories connecting with the audience on a spiritual and emotional level.
    • Organise and manage creative projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
    • Understand and respect the cultural and religious diversity within the faith community, tailoring creative content for a broad audience.
    • Collaborate closely with other departments and leaders to ensure creative efforts align with overall goals and objectives.
    • Stay current with technology and tools used in creative work, including design software, multimedia production, and social media platforms.
    • Stay informed about trends in faith-based creative content, adapting strategies to engage with a changing audience.
    • Uphold a high level of ethical integrity, adhering to the organisation's code of conduct and faith-based values in all creative work.
    • Continuously assess the effectiveness of creative initiatives, using feedback to make improvements and adjustments as needed.
    • Oversee multimedia content creation, including graphics, videos, and photography for various platforms.
    • Ensure that all creative work aligns seamlessly with the church's brand guidelines.
    • Support the Head of Strategy and Communications to deliver cohesive campaigns and messaging.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in fine arts, Design, Communication or related field, OR
    • A minimum of 10- 15 years of relevance work experience as creative manager or director in a reputable organization, NGO or church.
    • Proven experience in creative direction and team management.
    • Proficiency in graphic design software.
    • Excellent project management skills.
    • Passion for and understanding of the church's mission and values.
