• We’re looking for a Creative Communications Officer who can bring our work to life in a way that is clear, compelling, and impossible to ignore. This role is for someone who can think, create, and execute, someone who understands that storytelling is not just content, but impact.
• This is a full-time, on-site role located in Abuja. The position involves managing media relations, developing and implementing strategic communications plans, and effectively conveying key messages through writing. The Creative Communications Officer will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the organisation's public image and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.

Role Description

• Translate our programmes and impact into engaging digital stories across platforms
• Design high-quality visuals (graphics, short videos, reports, campaign assets)
• Develop and execute creative communication strategies for projects and partnerships
• Document field activities, capturing real stories from communities and beneficiaries
• Manage and grow our digital presence (social media, newsletters, website)
• Work closely with programme teams to showcase outcomes, not just activities
• Experiment with new formats and ideas to tell our story better

What we are looking for

• Strong design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools)
• Ability to create both visual and written content
• A good eye for detail, storytelling, and brand consistency
• Someone who takes initiative and can work with minimal supervision
• Interest in education, youth development, and social impact
• Experience in development, media, or digital communications is a plus
