Crane Operator (Instructor) at Dexterous Applied Training Institute (DATI)

Role Description

• The Crane Operator (Instructor) is a full-time, on-site position based in Warri. The instructor will conduct theoretical and practical training sessions for individuals and organizations, focusing on safe crane operations and compliance with industry standards. This role involves preparing training materials, evaluating trainees' performance, and performing equipment demonstrations. Additionally, the instructor will oversee lifting operations, conduct inspections of heavy and lifting equipment, and ensure adherence to safety protocols during training activities. Collaboration with the training team to maintain the quality and relevance of the program is also a key aspect of the role.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment management
• Expertise in operating and instructing on Heavy Equipment and Cranes
• Experience with Inspection processes for lifting and heavy equipment
• Strong knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations
• Good communication and instructional skills for engaging and guiding trainees
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in crane operation and safety are preferred
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in crane operation or as an instructor is advantageous
