Crane Maintenance Technician at Hayat Holding

Overview

• We are looking for a Crane Maintenance Technician to perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on cranes and lifting equipment.
• The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic crane systems, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on cranes and lifting equipment.
• Inspect crane components, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, to identify faults.
• Replace, adjust, and repair defective parts such as motors, gearboxes, hoists, winches, and cables.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during maintenance activities.
• Test cranes after repairs to ensure they function properly and meet operational requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Work closely with the maintenance team and report issues to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in crane maintenance or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic crane systems.
• Ability to diagnose faults and repair components efficiently.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and crane inspection standards.
• Ability to work at heights and in various environmental conditions.
• Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Experience with Offshore Pedestal Crane.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with port cranes, offshore cranes, tower cranes, or mobile cranes.
• Knowledge of crane brands such as TechCrane, Liebherr, Manitowoc, Konecranes, or similar.
• Certification in crane maintenance or lifting equipment inspection.
